The critical importance of neurodiversty for a thriving society is increasingly being recognised. This course is suitable for professionals wishing to improve their understanding of neurodiversity. Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, teachers, doctors, psychologists, assistants, social workers, carers will find this introductory course will meet their learning and development needs.

Attendees will reflect on how health and education systems and structures have been established with the neuromajority in mind, resulting in Neurodivergent people being placed at a disadvantage or being discriminated against. Attendees will be able to return to their work context with a new or renewed lens to review their practice, ensuring Neurodivergent clients receive person-led, equitable care and support.
